• Protects children from falling out of windows and prevents a parent from being accidentally locked out on the balcony.
• Once the safety lock is installed, the button on the side of the lock must be pressed firmly and held down to open or close the window. This is not particularly difficult for adults, but it is a sufficient obstacle for a small child.
• The safety lock cannot secure the window in the micro-ventilation position (i.e. when the handle is tilted at an angle of approximately 45 degrees, leaving a small gap).
• Installation does not require drilling holes or screwing.
• Once installed, the safety lock moves the handle 6 mm away from the window. Before purchasing, make sure that the handle spindle is long enough to still engage with the window lock after installation.
