HOPPEDIZ Baby Bonding Top for kangaroo care anthracite M

Those first moments of closeness deserve comfort. The Hoppediz Bonding Top is an elastic top that gently wraps around a newborn during skin-to-skin contact with a parent. The baby can rest on their mother’s or father’s chest, hearing a familiar voice and heartbeat. The top is suitable for calm kangaroo care at home, as well as after birth when permitted by medical staff.

The fabric consists of approximately 92% cotton from controlled organic cultivation and 8% elastane. This makes the top soft and allows it to adapt to the body. The selected variant is size M; the manufacturer recommends that the top fit close to the body, so it is worth checking the size chart before purchasing. The product can be washed at temperatures of up to 60°C.

FAQ

Is the Bonding Top a baby carrier?
No. It is designed for skin-to-skin contact when the parent is sitting or in a semi-reclined position. It is not suitable for carrying a baby while walking.

Can it be used after a cesarean section?
The top may facilitate skin-to-skin contact after birth. The time to begin kangaroo care after the procedure should be determined with medical staff.

How do I choose the size?
The top should fit close to the body: one that is too loose will not provide adequate support, while one that is too tight may put pressure on the baby. The manufacturer states that the model has a fairly relaxed fit and suggests considering a size smaller than the T-shirt size usually worn.

Safety

Use the top only when you are awake and able to constantly observe the baby. The baby’s face must remain visible, with the nose and mouth uncovered, and the chin should not rest on the chest. The top’s seams should be on the outside. Do not fall asleep with the baby in the top. If the baby was born prematurely or has breathing problems, consult medical staff before use.
